Invoicing should be simple. You did the work — getting paid should not require a degree in accounting software. invoicelance exists to strip away the complexity and give freelancers and small businesses a clean, fast tool that just works.

The Story
invoicelance was built out of frustration with existing invoicing tools — tools that are either too expensive, too complicated, or packed with features you will never use. Every month, freelancers across the Netherlands spend hours wrestling with software that was built for large accounting teams, not independent professionals.
We set out to build something better: a focused invoicing tool with sensible defaults for the Dutch market, a clean interface, and a fair pay-as-you-go model. You get 3 free invoices every month, and you only pay when you need more.

Technology
invoicelance is built on a modern, secure stack. The backend runs on Laravel — a battle-tested PHP framework trusted by millions of applications worldwide. The frontend is React with TypeScript, served via Inertia.js for a fast, app-like experience without the complexity of a separate API.
PDFs are generated server-side in pure PHP — no external browser dependencies, no third-party PDF services, no data leaving your account. Everything is fast, reliable, and private by design.
